OMA3 is now three months old and our first working group meetings are in the books. We're reaching out to you today for two reasons:
1) We've reduced our membership fees for certain organizations. One of our goals for 2023 is to grow our membership base and be more inclusive. A more diverse membership base will increase decentralization and lead to better outcomes. If you are a startup (50 or fewer employees) or educational institution your annual fee for participating as a Creator Member is now CHF 300 (~USD 325). 2) We’re going to start sending out regular newsletters to update the public on our progress. If you would like to receive more regular updates, you need to subscribe here: https://www.oma3.org/join-newsletter. We will be sunsetting this Community email list in the near future.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed, we recently uploaded two new blog posts to our website- one by Executive Committee members Dirk Lueth and Batis Samadian on their thinking behind starting OMA3, and one by Acting Executive Director Alfred Tom on the governance structure of OMA3.
